AFCAT I Eligibility 2023-

The eligibility criteria for the AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) exam can vary depending on the specific branch and entry you are applying for. As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, here are the general eligibility criteria for AFCAT 1. Please note that these criteria may change over time, so it’s essential to check the official Indian Air Force website or the AFCAT notification for the most up-to-date information:

  1. Nationality:
    • Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
  2. Age Limit:
    • For Flying Branch: The age should be between 20 and 24 years as of the date of commencement of course. Age relaxation may be applicable for candidates with valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India).
    • For Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches: The age should be between 20 and 26 years as of the date of commencement of course.
  3. Educational Qualifications:
    • Flying Branch: Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks and have passed Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level. Or, B.E./B.Tech. degree with a minimum of 60% marks.
    • Ground Duty (Technical) Branch: B.E./B.Tech. degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 60% marks.
    • Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branch: Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. For some specific posts, postgraduate degree or other qualifications may be required.

AFCAT I 2024 Exam Date-

The AFCAT 1/2024 Exam is all set to be conducted on 16th, 17th, and 18th February 2024 in the Computer Based Test mode, in which a total number of 100 multiple-choice questions of each 3 marks will be asked from General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability and Reasoning, and Military Aptitude Test.

How to apply for AFCAT I 2024-

To apply for AFCAT 1 exam, you can follow these steps. As of my last knowledge update in december 2023 here are the general steps to apply for AFCAT 1:

  4. Login:

  5. Fill out the Application Form:
    • Complete the AFCAT application form with all the required information, including personal details, educational qualifications, and branch preference (Flying, Technical, or Non-Technical).
  6. Upload Documents:
    • Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per the specified dimensions and file size mentioned in the application form.

AFCAT 1 Selection Process 2024

Selection process for the Air Force Common Admission Test (1) 2024 are as follows.

Written Test:-

  • Mode of Exam: Online
  • Number of Questions: 100
  • Maximum Marks: 300
  • Duration of Exam: 2 hours (120 minutes)
  • Sections in Paper:
    • General Awareness
    • Verbal Ability in English
    • Numerical Ability and Reasoning
    • Military Aptitude Test
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark deducted for each incorrect answer

AFSB Interview:

  • Candidates who will clear the first stage will be called for this.

Medical Examination:

  • Those who have passed the second stage will be called for it and then the final selection list will be prepared.

  1. AFCAT I:
